As someone who grew up frantically playing Banjo-Kazooie in my teenage years, I am severely excited to see the creative team behind it working on yet another platformer collectathon game. I honestly like to believe that this is what they wanted to do when they were denied the chance to make Banjo-Three-ie. This is what that game could've been but with all new characters and a new world and all. I can't wait to see what it's like and I'll be following the project throughout.

On the downside...today, I learned that my source of music has shutdown. Grooveshark has finally stumbled and copyright laws have caught up to them...and their only way out was to shut down entirely. Apparently they shut down yesterday and I didn't know of it until today. I often visited the site, listening to music, discovering new music, and just well...loving music. It's a rather big part of my life despite I can't play a single damn note for the life of me. I rather like listening to a good tune while I write or sketch. But that's all gone now...

I guess I still have You Tube but they don't have a repeat function and that just drives me up the wall. Sure there's sites that will do that with YT vids but I can't be bothered to spend so much time setting up each song when I'm in a sudden urge to write.

It was fun while it lasted, Grooveshark. Thanks for the music...you will be missed.

Dammit all...

Eh, that's it from me. I'm just kind of in a mixture of excited and bummed all at the same time and it's quite the conflicting feeling. Not sure I'm too fond of it to be honest. Oh well.

Later, all.

being a Banjo fan (though admittingly I never got the chance to play Tooie and I was adamant about Nuts and Bolts), I for one am looking forward to Yooka-Laylee. I've been hopping from one game to the next lately, and outside Transformers there hasn't been one I stuck with for at least a year. (although Mortal Kombat X might be next in line). I could definitely use a kickback platformer though, and this just might be the one I'm looking for.
